it is even funnier when people now ask - so when are you due?? and i reply - wed at 2pm!!!! Only had one ask if i was being induced all the others look puzzled til i explain....LMAO!!!! and had a couple think it was cause i was overdue already!!! hmmmmm
Emma - dont worry i have been threatened by worst than u that i dont dare leave them off the text list....LOL and esp as we have kept name a secret....still not sure how i have managed it actually!!! so name comes out on wed too...lets see who can release it first on here...hails, leish, SB, Emma or Roksana....youre all in on the text list.... Hails of course may be too busy bringing on her bubs...heres hoping!!!

Good luck!! I'll second and third the others who said its kinda weird knowing that "tomorrow I'll be a mum!" I had an induction date for Jake because of high BP, and on my way home from my mw appt when she made the booking, I had to pull the car over and cry, it was quite an overwhelming feeling, the whole "I'll be a mum on wednesday" thing as well as the "well, on wednesday, my life is going to change forever.."
Anyhow, Good luck and I'll be thinking of you (well, maybe dreaming of you if its at 2pm, as hopefully my 2 will be letting mean old mummy have a nap!) ------------- The Honest Un PC Parent of 2, usually stuck in the naughty corner! :P |

nah, the c/s may be late she was saying. Then 1/2 hr+, the another 1/2 hr in recovery following which she'll be exhausted... so I'd say they have baby 3pm and she's back on around 4.30 (but I bet her DH will be on before her

Yes you can call me by my real name no probs. Rochelle and Gabriella are doing fine. I had to hold her while they finished Rochelle off you completed the job etc. Gabriella is a Daddy's girl she crys when I leave the room if I pick her up see goes to sleep doesn't do it for any one else. |

Yay you must be such a proud daddy! Keep on cuddling that DD (darling daughter), shemay also settle easier on you because you can walk around etc... but she will already know your voice (unless BS does all the talking at your place ).
Tell Bombshell to not worry about asking the nurses for help with anything at all, even getting her toast at midnight! I had a c/s with my first baby and I felt bad for asking for so much "minor" help all the time but now that I've had 3 kids, I look back and wish I had asked for more... especially because I was so hungry between meals and couldn't walk to (and didn't know about) the toaster just down the corridor from my room! Hope you are all able to get good rest tonight after the long day... and congrats again! ------------- |

I'm home now very very tired and in bed with laptop. BS just text she said Gabriella had a twenty minute feed and was asleep. She is such a cute wee girl just hasn't sunk in for me yet again lack of sleep may also be a big reason for that. |

Update: Well Gabriella has had her first night in the real world BS has just rang and say's the BBS(Baby Bombshell)has had a good sleep nearly 5 hours straight...Yippee maybe I won't have to go and live on the boat in the Marina after all!!!!
We are onto our fourth nappy BS say's BBS farts like her Daddy?? I'm not sure what she means by that I don't fart! Cheeky cow! Still not liking the midwives at National womens BS wasn't to happy with the one she's had looking after her through the night....(They're old cronies! National womens maybe you should be reading this and fix the problem) TTFN (Ta Ta For Now) |

Congrats!!!!! She is so cute :) and i LOVE the name.
The midwifes up there are not so nice bar only a few. My friend has been up there for a few nights now and was too scared to ask for pain relief last night as the "bitch" was on till 11pm, thats just not on!!! Opps sorry to ramble.. ------------- Kayla Rose is now 4! James Sydney is nearly 2! |

I found the midwives there OK when I was preg, but have heard there are some dinosaurs hiding out in the postnatal wards...
Glad to hear BBS had a good first night - hope that means that MBS (Mummy Bombshell) had a good night too! Am going to try and get up to visit in a day or so... (I say try because the evil gremlins always thwart my best laid plans...) ------------- Maya Grace (28/02/03)

I gave a couple of nurses and the specialist what for yesterday when they mucked me around with Scrubs and then said you can wrap a sheet around you in the OR |

You should talk to my hubby BSDH.....He went back to work since I had a c section....and he couldnt concentrate...may be he can tell you why??

I had no problem in theatre was busy watching what was happening and nearly missed baby coming out I had fun would have liked to have a crack at doing the cutting bit looked cool
