Very exciting news!! Saturday night i took DP out on a date to the movies then a walk along the beach where i proposed!! Ofcourse he said YEs  I did it the "traditional" way, had a ring and his dads blessing all sorted! and yesterday we went to town and picked a ring for me. OOO its perfect!!!! Dont get it tomoro as it had to be sent away to be sized! DP, or should i say fiance, has brought me a cheap ring to wear till then No date set yet, were quite happy to have a 2yr engagement, but out parents are very keen to see a wedding happen in a yrs time 
So YAY for us!!! |

To be totaly honest im not sure exactly what made me decide to do it. Weve always joked about the fact that woman should do it too, to take the pressure off the men so i new DP (DF?) wasnt against the idea.I Was in town a few months ago and saw a ring i new DF would love, and i thought would make a great wedding ring. It was then that i realised i was ready to be engaged and could ask him. I waited a couple of months thinking bout it. Saturday DF gave me the most beautiful card hed made himself so i then visited his dad and i wasnt at all nervous or unsure about asking for his blessing, so i just figured it was the right thing to do so i went for it
