Both of my boys have a cold

Josiah's a bit grumpy, and a lot stroppy... he's been screaming and throwing pots across the lounge because I wouldn't open the kitchen door! At least he's learnt to blow his nose.

Xavier's a mess... he didn't sleep very well last night because his nose is so blocked... and he hates me dripping some saline solution into his nostrils so that I can unblock them. He's finally in bed - after 45 minutes of crying, 2.5ml of Pamol and some booby!

Awww... Josiah just went down to his room with his Monkey and Baby (one of Kiya's dolls that he's latched on to) and tried to get into his cot! I've just tucked him down, he gave me the most beautiful smile! I guess he's a little tired too.

Yeah Karvol is good, it smells like Eucalyptus(sp?). Lol Kazzle that just took me a few minutes how to work out how to spell it, just about got the dictionary out to look it up.

Poor boys, I hope things start to clear up soon. It isn't nice having to put saline drops in there nose, I have been there several times with Xanda and he hates it.

Oh it's not fun at all when kids are sick! Have you tried putting breastmilk up his nose instead of saline? Kids don't mind it so much, I think partly because it's warm. Does the same job.

Thanks ladies.

Josiah seems a little better. He ate a good lunch, and is currently chomping on a marshmellow/jelly lollipop he got for christmas (and has been sitting in the fridge)

Xavier is so clingy! He's incredibly grumpy, and all he wants is to sit on my knee and suck on his dummy.

I used to use breastmilk for Kiya but I find the saline easier to use, Teresa, because the children move so much I can aim better!

Well, Josiah crashed early last night, and was asleep quickly... Xavier was more of a mission, but finally fell asleep just before 8pm... so I had a bath!

Poor Xavier woke a few times during the night feeling yucky - he didn't want booby, he wanted cuddles and he would fall asleep again as soon as I snuggled up with him!
