Okay I am totally freaking lost with this daylight saving things and trying to work out times in SA as well.

When and how do I change the clocks on the 18th? Do I put it an hour forward or backwards?

Thanks so much for the help as me and hubby is getting each other just really confused over here.

You put it back and have an extra hours sleep so when you would usually get up at 6am you now put the clock back an hour and what will then be 6am was 7am before hand so an extra hours sleep
hope that makes sense

i always think of it as "spring forward fall back" so in spring you put the clock forward an hour and then in fall (autumn) you put it back an hour, easy peasy

put it back an hour before you go to bed so when you wake up you are on the right time...

I usually change it around dinner time on the Saturday night so that I start to get a feel for the difference. It officially changes at 2am on Sunday morning.
