Well last night the weather turned to crap about midnight with gail force winds, heavy rain, thunder and lightnening etc and i wasnt going to go and pull down the gazebo at that time of night in the kind of weather!!! anyway i thought "yeah everything will be alright because the gazebo is guy roped hard into the ground and half on the ground anyway and if anything all of Bays pool toys would just fly away into the yonder as they are lighter" well boy was i wrong!!! we went out there this morning at 6.30am! to say Bye to DH going to work and low and behold the gazebo is in the neighbours yard!! but the damb pool toys are still here!!! WTF!!! anyway i though no harm done just a buggered gazebo so i sent hubby off to work as he was running very late and i got my mum up and i scaled the big iron fence!! (naughty naughty!!) and went to pick it up while my mum stood at the fence (mum couldnt go over because she only has one hand and it was certainly a 2 hand job!) so anyway when i picked it up i heard a jingle and then realised that the damb thing smashed the neighbours bedroom window!!!!!!! which im sure wouldve woken him up! and now we have to replace his window! (he hasnt woken up yet so we havnt spoken to him but it certainly is our fault apart from the wind! we shouldv taken it down!). So here i am feeling real stink about the guys window and for my mum as this is her house and it was her gazebo but my fault! we know that particular neighbour very well as we have all lived here for over 23 years (well my mum anyway as i had moved out...and then back in...temporarily..oh never mind!) so yeah hes a really old guy who use to be really good running mates with my dad so i hope hes not too grumpy at us i know i would be!!
