I'm planning on getting a safe T sleep as I have a friend that swears by them. they used them on their twins and even claim it has stopped the boys getting up in the middle of the night and climbing into their beds.....maybe they were just lucky. I like the idea because we will be travelling Chch- Akl a lot to visit grandparents.

I look forward to hearing what others have to say

We have a safe T sleep I found it great I had to take it of to wash today and James has been taking longer to go to sleep without it it also gives me piece of mind as he know is in his own room as I know he can't slip under the blankets as it keeps him in the one spot.

I used nothing with my first two all those years ago .. they ended up all over their cots in some pretty far out positions and still managed to sleep ... I did used to get up and have to reposition them abit though ...

We have the SafeTsleep wrap (the one that goes around the matress) and is definitely one of the best items we purchased. Alyssa has been sleeping in it since she first came home right up to now (almost 8 months). I will continue to use it until she isn't happy with it, as it has always worked well keeping her in place so she doesn't roll.

Wouldn't be without ours - Joshua is impossible to get to sleep without it. We are planning on weaning him off it soon - better for him, but not looking forward to a 'climbing out of the cot boy"!!

We have both a safety sleep with the bit that velcroes around the middle, and a sleep sack that has a fabric band sewn into it that snaps to fit around the mattress, like so:

I know it looks a little odd without arm holes, but this doesn't seem to bother her - and keeps her nice and snuggly too. I have discovered that she can roll inside the safety sleep now anyway, I had to wash the sleep sack and put the SS on in the meantime, and after the one sleep with it on I discovered her on her tummy and turned 90 degrees ! Was good when she was a bit smaller though.

There is another trick you can use. I use to put McKayla (okay in the wedge) but her feet was touching the end of the cot. Then the blankets gets on top but the end of it gets tucked under the mattrass. So the top part only reaches her neck. So she cant slip under her blankets and she wont have the strength to pull it over her head.

All three of my girls have had safety sleeps, the gremlins are still in theirs, and I would't be without them. When we go visiting I take them with me and put them round a single bed and the girls nap there just as well as they would in their own cots. I have to wash them on a day when we are out and about as they won't sleep without them.

They are great peace of mind, I used Maya's one with her till she was well over 1, altho from about 8 or 9 mths I had to safety pin it closed so she didn't get out of it.

I'm using a safe T sleep, Steph kept rolling onto her tummy and complaining because she wanted to be on her back. I've been using it for a week now and it does a great job of helping stay put. Also great when traveling as its definitely a lot smaller than a portacot.

I used a wedge after we were told off about Tyrell's falt head....

Anyway we were given a Go Go bag (sleeping bag thing!) We find it to be fantastic! It is made of Merino wool and cotton. So warm in winter and cool in summer.
Tyrell can end up in the weirdest postions upside down, sideways etc and we don't have to worry

I loved using my saftey sleep, they were not only good to "settle" but also as a piece of mind. I was very consious of Olivia's fontanelle and was rather worried about her crashing into the cot bars. As she has grown she has just learnt to take them off herself and is now completely weaned off them. I just had the ones that have the bit that goes around the tummy. High recommendations here!!

I have a safety sleep and to be honest its not gonna be on Ellas bed for much longer she rolls and twists in it and gets in a right mess and then screams her head off coz she gets on her tummy and doesnt like to sleep like that. Otherwise it was awesome when she was little
