Now I am not 100% sure if this is all stores, but did hear it on radio today. They are having a baby sale, boxes of huggies are around $35 each, baby food is reduced. Heaps of wipes, powders etc are on sale, and they had blankets, bath easy things, umbrella prams, and portacots ($88 for these).

My MIL did buy me some Giggles NB nappies today, pack of 24 for $5.99. That was in Auckland.

I wonder if it is just for today or all week?

We saw the signs but our naps were the same price $42 something for 10-15kgs.

They had hardly any food left but it was less than $1 per large jar...pretty good. They don't stock our formula so didn't see that sorry.

it is for the week, and if they don't have it, ask for a rain check then you can get it on special price later on when it is in stock.

I think it is countdown that have the giggles on special from memory of the masses of flyers we got over the weekend

I was there at 9am, there were so many old people that it took me so long to get around and right at the end Josh wakes up and starts screaming.

Oh dontcha hate dodging old people in the supermarket!!  Especially when they're in the middle of the aisle, just standing there gazing at the shelves or having a catch-up, and can't hear you saying 'excuse me please'!  I should be patient with them I suppose - I'll be one of those one day and with my hearing, they'll have to really yell at me!

Gosh Becks I think I got there between 8.50 and 9am and I left at 9.45 ish (went to the library next and had to wait 10 minutes for it to open.... with all three kids in tow, itwas a very proud moment ) So that's really funny cause we must have been there at the same time!

Oh my gosh have you ever been to Pak n Save in Auckland.....well don't get me started.
My Partner now refuses to do the shopping as it is just always jam packed with some very rude people to say the least.
My son and I now go and it takes us for ever to just get through the vege section into the actual isles!

amy, you have to avoid the vege section at all costs! If we get stuff from there, hubby meets me in the meat section and I grab what we need. Also I have found using your trolley as a weapon works well

Oh my gosh you should shop with my partner....that is exaclty what he does LOL
My partner being of dark skin seems to be a threat to a lot of people....not to mention he is covered in tattoo's. I just wish he would shop with me more at it is a lot easier with 2....meet you there as you say!
