Just having a wee pity party over here. Sienna is better (woohoo!) but sh ehas been kind enough to share her lovely germs around the house with Mercedes, and yep, with Mummy too  If there was a puking team at the Olympics I'd be bringing home the Gold medal. Mercedes isn't even keeping the paedialyte down and just wants to sleep, Sienna has decided to pick today of all days to start moving around the place, Maya is the only one not sick which means she is bouncing off the walls, and I am about to head back to my cave and hide... Bring on 3pm when that useless male creature of mine will come slinking back from work - and Lord help him if he doesn't have lemonade!
Oh and the WellChild nurse at Healthline told me I really should take Mercedes to the doctor as she's not keeping the paedialyte down - great idea! After the time I had last weekend I totally feel your pain!!! That Olympic puking team? B would have been silver for sure....I think I could have made a bronze at least.
Sending big hugs your way and hope you get better soon (and that man of yours better bring lemonade...flat...mmmmmmm) Make sure you get as much rest as you can...really hard when running around after rugrats and wannabe rugrats I know! If it's anything like the tummy bug I had I don't need to tell you that it totally knocks you for six! Feeling a little better, managed to keep down some toast and flat lemonade and the father-type creature bathed his kids for once coz I actually lack the energy to be upright that long, but I've had a shower (that in itself was beginning to become a health hazard ) and about to curl back up in bed.
Had designs on watching the twins documentary that Peace taped for me but apparently there is league on

A family that pukes together, stays together (largely because noone else wants to be near puking people)? Perhaps it's a new intensive form of parental-child bonding where you can all look back in a weeks time and laugh about it all? Nah, who am I kidding - puking sucks - or blows...depending on how you look at it.

Woke up this morning feeling slightly "hung over' but in the mood to clean up my pigsty of a house (let the man and the 4 year old roam free for a few hours and watch the place fall apart ) so have done 6 loads of washing (yes all the PJs that the babies chucked up on, all the sheets, all the nappies - altho i resorted to disposables yesterday afternoon  ), washed and sterilised all the toys they've been sucking on, and even managed to cook braised mutton for dinner with bread and butter pudding for dessert.
Am amazed how much better I feel so quickly, the last time I had a crook tum (apart from pregnancy) was food poisoning and I felt icky for days. I think poor Mercedes is still having tummy pains tho coz she keeps grizzling in her sleep which is unlike her  ------------- Maya Grace (28/02/03)
