Do you re-use the plastic sipper bottles you get from cafe's for kids? Those fruity flavorits ones?
If so, do you put them through your dishwasher or wash by hand?
We have a few, and I don't keep them longer than a few washes (as we get too many ) but hubby suggested that maybe it wasn't safe to dishwasher them?

I'd dishwasher them and then rinse with cold water before filling. They say it's not good to keep them too long because all the washes (by hand or d/w) breaks the plastic down over time. Just keep updating your stock as you're doing and I wouldn't worry too much... but then I'm a pretty laid-back parent

I put them through the dishwasher & by hand. Havent had any trouble yet, but have done this on a huge rotation (always losing them and having to replace) I think i've had a particular bottle for a few months and its ok.

Nope I chuck them right out. Due to the plastic thing. She has enough cups and bottles already.
