We've had the worst week ever with bed times. Caitlin has been pulling herself up on the side of the cot and crying when she can't get down, then when we go in to her for what feels like the 100th time and put her back down in her bed, she's back up in seconds

So I put the safety sleep back on this morning and she's just gone down for her afternoon nap. After a major tanty when she realised she couldn't move I haven't actually heard from her for a while YAY

I hope she goes back to being better at going to sleep, this week has certainly made us appreciate what an easy baby we had/have.

Maya used to do the same thing. Except she was IN the Safety Sleep - she figured out how to undo it and would let herself out then get stuck standing up. So I safety pinned her into the Safety Sleep and that was the end of that!

For the very same reason I switched to a sleep sack that has a backing very much like a safety sleep, so Erin is completely strapped to the bed. Had to wash it the other day, and so put the SS on as a temporary measure, and she'd undone it by the time I shut her door

Yay! Fingers crossed for a good night sleep.

And yep, she most certainly did get out. And went roaming around the cot. I so loved getting up at 3am to put her back where she was supposed to be when she got stuck

Sienna has an eye on getting hers off, a couple of times she's undone it, but Mercedes is still fully swaddled so that keeps her in one spot

Yay! That is what we did too.. although Ella could wriggle out of the tightest setting on the safety sleep I never did pin it to her, just started finding *ahem* alternative methods of getting her to sleep (walking her in the pram).
