Is it just my DH, or a Holden stroller thing....??
I cannot push my baby in the stroller...Im not allowed to...DH takes over, from the minute it is outta the car til we get back....He refuses to hand the stroller over...it is HIS domain....
what is with that???
I have to feign a sore back (well actually i did have one yest) or go out without him to get my hands on the stroller....he even refused to let his mother touch it at wedding the other day!
Are all the DHs like that??? DH Stroller possession sydrome - a new disease taking over the country???

Hubby over here actually always carried McKayla in the Kango pouch and he loves pushing the stroller as well but rather wants to carry her.
He says I have her most of the day so that is his special time with his girl.
He also told me straight out that he does bathtime (that was when I was pregnant.) And I had to beg to bath my daughter sometimes.

my DH HAS to put ethan to bed... DH gets the lovely night time cuddles and kisses.. Not me who is with Ethan all day..
Alo, dont you hate it when you have been with child all day, and when DH walks in the door after work.."Daaaadddeeeeee, look mum daddy's home" like it is a major event.... I never get that....

Oh my gosh...same here. MY DP will NOT let me push the pram! We brought a pram that has a adjustable handle as I am shorter than him, so we spent a little more....I now wonder why we bothered!

Same problem here! We bought a grey Phil&Ted double pushchair, and every time we go out as a family Nat has to push the boys! If I try to have a turn he actually sulks!

We take turns pushing it when we are out. I know Dh would prefer to push it all the time but its easier for him to chase after Andrew if he runs too far in front of us. I find it so much easier to push it as it helps my back (and its very sore) for some strange reason. I also make him carry the capsule (even more so now) it is so heavy. DH also has his time with Andrew at night - he puts him into bed every night and reads a story to him. maybe to him thats his special time with her.
------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

LOL, can only imagine
And as for telling Gabriella "daddys home", do you say it with a giant sigh of relief as you throw her at DH and run for the hills? I say "look Maya, Daddy's home, go and open the door for him" and then sneak out the back door...

Well you guys are all nuts!! lol
When we go out for a walk I get DH to take over pushing - and he does enjoy it - so I can have a little break! I guess it's one of those male-bonding things we'll never understand, like how they don't like to hang around and chat but they like to do things with people.... I guess?

I can answer this one for you all.
100's of years ago woman wern't strong enough to push there kids around in whatever thing they could find and would spend more time crashing into things and hurting their kids, so men did it.
This over the 100's of years have gone into things like driving cars, shopping trollies, and Prams.
It is pre programed in men that if you are together a man should drive, push the shopping trolly and push the pram to save our kids form the dangers of WOMAN DRIVERS.
------------- Look out! It's a man.

oh and Emma - i use high pitched excitable baby friendly tone that arrived on same day that she was born - arrived outta nowhere....!!!
