Okay, I need some advice.
Am trying to decide which carseat to get - whether to get one which clicks onto my pram or not. The one that clicks on to my pram is $350 and the other normal ones at baby factory that dont do this are heaps less.
Do you think its a feature you would actually use or is it a con?
My pram has a capsule for baby when its little.
Any advice or tips greatly appreciated!

Well, I have just a "normal" non clicking into pram seat, and I found snap and go wheels easy, alot quicker than putting up your pram? Just a thought...

I had a travel system where the capsule fits onto the pram, and I found it well worth the money. So much easier than waking bubs to transfer them from the carseat into the pushchair and vice versa.

It might be cheaper to get the cheaper capsule and hire the snap n go wheels for it for the first few months? We didn't have the travel system mainly coz there are no twin travel systems, but I found our capsules that we hired (Evenflo Discovery's) far easier to operate than the ones I've seen with travel systems.

It depends what kind of traveller you are. If you think you'll be going out a lot in the first six months and want to keep the baby sleeping from car to pushchair in shop etc to car again (if that's possible with your bubba of course!), then go for it. But if you don't think you'll be going out and about all that much then it may not be worth the extra $$.

i agree if you are going to spend alot of time going out in the first 6 months then yeah it will be worth it.
we didnt go capsule because i dont drive and wasnt going to be in a car very often so we got a reversable carseat.
so it really all depends on your lifestyle

I have a evenflow discovery with the car base and it fit really nice and snug into my pram (when i had Bay) and it seemed to fit in really well into my friends prams too. It didnt wobble around or anything and was pretty wedged but if you think you may be doing some type of off road praming! lol or are wanting it to be buckled down for personal reasons then youl have to go with the travel system. We didnt have the snap'n'go wheels as i wasnt to keen on them. I havnt tried the capsule in our new P&T pram yet but hopefully itl fit otherwise i will find a way

we have to buy a double pram for our next and we are going with a mountian buggy as we can use the car seat clip for it as we used it on our single one with madison and it was great

Does the car seat clip work with the double? I looked at them when I was pregnant with the gremlins bt the lady told me the seats on the twin MB are narrower than the standard one and too narrow to fit a capsule.

Ellen I just have to put in (another) plug for Phil and teds. We have bought a double and it is so so nice. I love thats its not as wide and bulky. I know you have probably looked at them all already but I just had to say it!!
