Thought we had better start up its own thread instead of highjacking the other thread we were using.

So, we are meeting up at Westfield in Lower Hutt on 1 May at 1pm. Kels suggested Gloria Jeans outside the Warehouse as it has a little kiddy play area opposite it. I don't see any probs with going there.

Hope heaps of you can make it

Doh! Let me know next time you have a morning meet up, afternoon isn't so good for us as little miss gets really grumpy now she doesn't have a daytime sleep.

I'm coming down so I am there. Just have to work out where in tha mall it is. We could make it in the morning if that is easier?? I can make my sister come out and meet me and then I can follow her back to Mt Cook to her place.

Hey all, I'll be keen too! Will be good to catch up again, Kels and meet some new ones.

Kazzle, I was going to say I liked Gloria Jeans hot choccies!!! Hehehehehe but I agree, the service is pretty average.

What do you guys think about Wholly Bagels? It's outside of the mall (you can park in the mall and it's a short walk across or there's some parking out the front of the store), but has a play area for the bigger kiddies and is very child friendly (we know the owner and our ante-natal group go there every week!).

ooo can I join in too
Wholly Bagels has a little enclosed play area, one way to stop the minis from doing a runner in the middle of westfields.
Yeah Gloria Jeans like KAz said bad service.

Jess of course you can come, i'm looking forward to meeting you and EllaG in a couple of weeks up here.

hehehe posted that reply before seeing yours mummy becks lol.

If anyone doesnt mind Wholly bagels sounds best. Its across the road from queensgate mummy becks so easy to find. We could meet up at queensgate and walk across.

gloria Jean Ive never been to so what others have said about the service doesnt sound good. It was the only one in queensgate with a play area I think?

What do you other local mums think?

I am SO keen to do wholly bagels. A salmon and cream cheese wholly bagel was one of the things people had to bring me in hospital after I had Noah. Heavenly.

Mummybecks, we could meet up in the plaza and then walk over to wholly bagels together if you're worried about getting lost.

The more the merrier Jess

Becks, it's really, really easy to find. If we organise to meet up say at the bottom entrance to Farmers (inside the mall - the beauty/fragrance/cosmetics entrance) then it's a brief walk through Farmers, across the road and we're there!

I think the coffee there is great (not too sure on the beans they use, Leish. Will ask my hubby though, he might know - they're one of his customers. He's a sales rep)

Okay, so a time! Who's babe/kidlet sleeps when? Obviously we will try to work around naps to avoid potential grumpiness.

Posted By: Leish

Salmon and avocado sushi was the first thing to pass my lips after I had Noah It was bliss. All my nearest and dearest were allocated certain foods to bring me in hospital or they weren't welcome. My brother was on sushi and hubby got the bagel. It was so fun

I can do any time. We were looking at 1.00 at one point but we can change that to a morning time if that is easier for some. We were kind of working around Becks cos she is coming from Palmy and is meeting up with her sister.

we happy with what ever time, Haleigh will hopefully have a sleep on the bus on the way in and maybe on way home.

I only have DF to send out to satisfy my cravings hehe (unless my family are able to make it over), when I had Haleigh DF was the only one who knew exactly waht I would be wanting it was all waiting in my room before I got there with Haleigh hehe

I easy with any time. I'll be leaving Palmy about 8.30am and would get to Lower Hutt about 10.30ish give or take with road works. I'm only going to have Josh with me, Andrew is going to pre school that day so he'll sleep in his capsule or pushchair he is easy.

Well, sorry to have missed it!
I've got the newborn to bring along, but he just wasn't playing the game this morning.

Ah, well, there's always next time!
Hope you all had a good time.

It was really cool to meet up with you Welly girls. I managed to get a park on Lampton Quay to see my friend and I got a few extra books for Andrew (I couldn't resist at the cheap price). Looking forward to those pics.

Eek Kirsten. Sounds traumatic

It probably won't be a Tuesday thing and Wednesdays aren't good for me so maybe a Thursday or Friday thing. So looking forward to the next one (can you tell I don't get out enough )

Piccies are up in the other Photo Gallery thread
