So, we are a one income family with me being a SAHM. So DH works his butt off trying to make budget every year so we can get a nice bonus..
Anyhoo, was just checking the emails, and there was an email for him from some head honcho in Aus wanting him to call him pronto. DH did. I am merrily lurking around on Trademe when DH gets really excited and lets out lots of "your kidding!!' and "Oh my gosh!!". Naturally being the supportive wife that I am (more like nosey) I race into the lounge to try and find out what is going on... Well, the company that he works for, their Big Head Office is in Germany. The german people ran a competition to see who IN THE WORLD of this company (and it is a major player in it's field) could increase their sales from last financial year with a specific product. Well, DH and his boss weren't even going to enter... but...... HE WON!!!!!! So he beat every other salesperson in THE WORLD!!! to get this prize.. Well what is it I hear you say... Gee, only FIVE THOUSAND........EURO (Which equates to nearly 9000 NZ!! How awesome!!!!! Big congrats to the hubby.... Now he just needs to take me out to an extravagantly expensive dinner to make up for all of those late nights, and trips away

that is wonderful...congrats....maybe they will fly him to germany to pick it up and pay for you too...oh well u can dream! That is sooo good!
We are still waiting for DHs bonus from NOV now being paid in may...wouldve been handy in NOV!!! |

Yes I am serious. The house that we own now, the roof has not been touched since it was built (1950's) So, that cash is gonna put a roof over our head (LOL!!!)
