Where I work, we have a great team. I really enjoy working with them and it makes up for bits of a job that aren't that flash. I get quite a bit of face to face contact with customers and members of the public, which I mostly enjoy.

It seems that our office may be moving. To the other side of Papakura. Plus, our GM at head office is a w*nker that no one likes, and head office is mostly difficult to deal with.

My branch 'boss' (my manager and actual boss is based in Chch at head office) is being head hunted, and is looking very seriously at it. At least one of our 2 other reps will go post-move. Our storeman probably will too.

I'm predicting that within a year, possibly even 6 months, the entire Auckland sales team with possibly just one exception will have jumped ship.

I'll go. Definitely. If the changes take place, that'll be me. I just wonder what I'll do next. I'm loving having time to play with my writing, so I'd probably need a part time job if I wanted to keep it up, but then, how will we afford IVF (assuming that it comes to IVF)? I suppose the most important thing is IVF instead of writing. Mind you I don't earn big money here, I just do it because it suits me ...

Interesting times.

Lots of things to think about really, ginger! it would be great if you could have more time for your writing. What would be your chances with public IVF - I am guessing low for whatever reasosns, just because your post seemss to imply you guys will have to cough up for it yourslef?

There's a thought miss! We qualify for public funding for IVF, we had just made the decision to pay for it ourselves because we didn't want to have it hanging over our heads whilst sitting on the waiting list. Does that make sense?

I hadn't even given publicly funded IVF a thought ...isn't that silly?

Lol ginger! That is funny! You know, while it is a bit of wait on the list, once you make the decision you might find that the wait on the list is similar to the time it takes to pay for it privately!

(Ok, got my rose tinted glasses on today).
