Plenty of parking and things like that. Or if there are other suggestions? I'm ok with anything you ladies are. I can catch a bus to where ever. I think Westfield sounds a bit better than downtown, because westfield has the huge starbucks and plenty of room for running around, but downtown plaza and centreplace doesn't really. There is a wide open foodcourt and I for one know that my little monkey will run off or having me running around in rings after him. That is just a suggestion though. Plus free parking is always a good thing especiallyt when there is mothers with strollers parks too. We just need to work out what time suits best. I think most people are keen on Chartwell, in the foodcourt on the 4th of May, but we don't have to make it definite and will try to accomodate and adjust it so that everyone is happy. Oh well, we'll keep discussing until we come to a bit of a conclusion. Glad to see that heaps of people are interested though! Will be really good to meet some of you lovely ladies and your gorgeous babies! I know Westfield but haven't been in there since they did their renovation. Trying to think of the easiest way from SH1...would it be coming in from the Te Rapa roundabout and bypassing the main street?? I think it's pretty well signposted, if I remember right...if someone can think of a better way, cool, otherwise I'll post some directions from the Te Rapa roundabout (by The Base). BS should know where Chartwell is though, seeing as she is familiar with Hams from her Uni days. Here are directions from the main road heading into town that goes past the base (SH1) Turn left at the first round-a-bout after the base(it has BK at it) Go straight through the next r-a-b. This will take you over the Pukete Brigde and onto other side of river. Go straight through r-a-b directly after bridge. Go right at the next r-a-b(well, there's only 2 ways at that r-a-b, so it's more of a vere (spl?) to the right) Go right at the next r-a-b You will now be on the road that Chartwell is on (Hukanui Rd). Chartwell is on your right. Turn into the parking entrance to foodtown (the first one you get to) then go left into the ground level of the undercover parking. There are baby parks at the top end of the undercover part. Starbucks is on Level 2 at the 'new' end.
