i have a head cold and feel miserable....sore throat, all heady, snotty and feeling grotty....and have to breastfeed a bubba all day long on top of it...lucky she is finally asleep for now...cause i feel soooo yuck!
i just want to crawl into bed cover my head and wake up with this gone... |

Oh no Bombshell it is horrible being sick when you have a bubba to attend to. It's a bummer that we can't take sick days. I hope DH is helping you out all he can.

no i promised him the other day that he could go work on our boat today...so he has arranged to meet boating mates etc...so i let him go off from lunchtime...
mum is here but she put gabriella down on tummy and now i feel like i have to sit here and watch her....she is fine BUT...... so am vegging watching tv but want my head to clear up and my yuccky throat to disappear....gross! |

oooohhh that is sad. I know how you feel. I have a cold, sore throat. I let hubby play golf today. well u guys hijacked my thread well and truly...
BUT i still feel miserable, think ella bella may end up with this too...if i had known i was gonna get sick i would have expressed the past few days cause breathiig all over her she is already grumpy and clammy...im so hot and sweaty / clammy now and feel gross still....i want to go to bed but am still trying to get her down for the night...she is close if not out now...will wait 20 and see - then have shower and pass out... BSDH - you were man sick...there is a vast difference...I am really really sick!!! |

I hope lil Miss settles for you and you get a rest tonight. The hard part of being a new mum is that you don't get a break so get run down and then more susceptible to colds and bugs and it becomes a whole vicious cycle.

No choccy cake for this kiddy on Friday - would ruin all the time I've spent on the cross trainer this week. And how good I was having a deli roll at McD's when I took Maya there for dinner. I am back on track now!

The biggest diff between a man getting sick and a woman getting sick is this....
MAN gets sick, complains of feeling sick, takes day off work, stays home, not sleepy, mopes around the house saying how sick he is, still happy to "play" at nighttime. WOMAN gets sick, goes to medicine cabinet, can't find anything "safe" other than a sticky plaster, goes back to bed, baby wakes, mum does her thing, counts down minutes until she can go to bed, gets to dinner time and she's spent as much time in bed as possible that day but is still tired, and there's absolutely NO playing that night! ------------- |
