| i was wondering if it is possible for the PM section to have a sent box/draft PM area where PM's would go instead of disappearing if the recipients in box is full. or maybe a warning sent to people whos inbox gets too close to the maximum. we seem to have sooo many PM's get lost ! |

I had a go at trying to increase the size of the PM inbox last time but the admin gremlin squawked at me and said "Page could not be displayed" 
I'll have another go. I'm not sure about having the overflow messages go somewhere else tho as that would require serious system modifications and I don't know if our system is even capable of it. Let me do some detective work and get back to you... -------------  Maya Grace (28/02/03)

What about you can't send messages until you have space in your inbox for a reply? I know I've got close to PMing back and forth until I'm at 25 or thereabouts

Nope, it still doesn't like me  I'll have a word with the tech guys but I suspect it is probably because if I increase the size of the PM inboxes it will throw out the other forum settings and create chaos.------------- Maya Grace (28/02/03)

An easier way would be a warning message when your own inbox is nearly full so then you can clear it out.
But to save loosing a long PM I always copy what I've written in case their inbox is full and if it is I paste it into notepad or something until they empty it out. That way no retyping. |
