At 3.30am this morning Samantha made her way into the world weighing in at 6lb14. From what I know all are doing well. Sterryn will post a photo when she gets home (though I might try and sneak up to the hospital and take one!).
Congratulations Sterryn, and I am very pleased you did hold out till the 27th, the 27th is a very good date and only the most gorgeous babies are born then!   ------------- ">

Congrats Sterryn, I cant wait to see pics when you get home. Sam decieded she didnt want to be late after all and not such a big bubba after all, just a little smaller then my boy is now.

Hi there, DH here. Thank you all very much, I shall relay the congrats on to Stez when I go back. I'm home to get a few things while Stez & Sam catch up on some much needed sleep. She did an amazing job and was really brave about it. She is doing fine (if a little knackered) & little baby Samantha is doing well to. What a cutie!!!! Must take after her mum I think. A total of 22 hours from waters breaking to her first glimpse at the world. I got to hold her for approx 45 mins while the midwife did the cleaning up etc One of the best moments in my life. She had her first feed at approx 4:10am with not to much trouble. I've got a few photo's including one of her getting weighed (6 pound 14 shillings), Oh and one of her pulling a face at the midwife too. When I figure this new camera out, I'll upload some. Both should be back home on Sunday all going well. We'll keep you all updated. ------------- http://lilypie.com">
