Has anyone done a Toolbox course? We were thinking of doing one, but were wondering if it would be beneficial now cos Isla's only 6 months,..or should we wait til she older?

Yeah actually we have.. it was really great! But it might pay to wait until Isla is a bit older, it was focused more on kids aged around 18 months+

Yeah I was told to wait until Maddie was a little older for a tool box course...but they also do fabulous marriage seminars. I've heard Ian Grant and also John Cowan do a number of talks at church about parenting and they were fabulous, i'm particulary a fan of John Cowan.

Can also highly recommend the mag.

Is it christian based?

I subscribe to Parenting (the Parents Inc. mag) and it's great, far more behaviour/lifestyle related than say Little Treasures which is full on commercial.

I love the Grants, I think they are just so inherently sensible. The kind of parents I *wish* I could be, which makes me a better parent coz I try to follow some of their examples.

Watch this space tho, coz we have a few things in the pipeline with Parents Inc.

I think almost everyone who works there is Christian (definetly the Grants and John)and particular when I've heard John talk it has been Christian based but it's not a Christian programme as such, it is aimed at all parents and families weather they are married, defacto, divorced, solo, teenage....whatever the situation.
