I was thinking of PMing Emma but I think it's probably best just to put it out there for ya's: In the "small world" thread there's a lot of personal info there that would easily come up on a google search for example. Do you think we should ask Emma to move it to the photo gallery for privacy of those details? -------------  |

I think that maybe giving people the oportunity to want to remove that information is a good idea. Deleting their own posts and what not.
I think there is far more information on the "Introductions" thread where people have posted pictures of themselves and their children, which can be ripped off by anyone. Well one of our neighbours - I think she is 17 - mentioned to a friend, who mentioned to my brother/boarder, that she thinks my DH is rather hot looking! So no more pics of him on here Gonna keep him tied to the house  ------------- |

I think thats a good idea to move it because if we edited details then that kinda defeats the purpose of trying to find people from long ago so if its put in the pic thread then we can put all the details and not have to worry about someone taking info

I have read the thread and think it's neat. The only thing I thought was that maybe some of the relatives/other friends that people have written about to help the linking process might not want their names and other personal info discussed in a public forum?
But then the people who are writing the posts know these people I don't so it's probably a non-issue!  Just a thought, not trying to offend

I haven't put anything in there that I didn't want known... but it was just a thought I had after surnames etc started being listed. If the people who posted are fine with it, then no probs. Otherwise they can edit or ask Emma to move it but it seems though most are happy with it as is. No biggie to me ------------- |
