Hi guys, hope everyone is feeling well. I feel horrible at the mo with lots of morning sickness-all day sickness more like!! Do the preggie pops actually work? Im sick of not being able to function during the day due to being sick and vomiting.

They were ok. I think it was the actaul sucking and the glucose that helped. If you can stomach it, try sucking on Heards barley sugars or fruit refreshers, heaps cheaper. I also found the plain flavourless Mizone helpful, and sea bands. The Egg maternity Sniff box was great, however, as I was very smell sensitive and this worked very well. I had chronic m/s untill about 4 weeks before I had her (and I was overdue!)

I was like you, I had bad morning sickness from quite early on and it wasn't just in the morning! It wasn't severe enough to be put on medication but it was still very tiring to say the least. A couple of different things worked for me.

Definitely iceblocks
Salt and vinegar chips
Copious amounts of really cold milk
Barley sugars
Chewing gum!

And then sometimes nothing works and you just have to suffer through it. Hopefully it doesn't last too long for you and you can find something that helps.

Theres also a natropharm product that is for morning sickness. I used it and it helped a little but I had bad morning sickness for a long time!

I had ms up until 17 weeks...Anything 'water' based really helped me, soup, iceblocks, jelly, watermelon, etc. I couldn't actually stomach water 'straight' as I found it too harsh on my stomach, so I found for about 10 weeks I drank nothing but sports waters or raro. Bad, I know, with all the sugar, but at least they stayed down!

I found lemonade iceblocks helpful too. I had chronic morning sickness both times, had to be medicated and was hospitalised with Maya, and given IV fluids with the gremlins, so I feel your pain! I couldn't drink straight water either, it seemed to have a metallic taste to it and made me feel bloated. I also went thru a Mizone phase where I drank bottles and bottles of it, and the same with Ribena. I'd only be able to handle something for a week or two tho then I'd go right off it completely.
