Are they worth $30 a ticket?
What do you get that you don't get in a normal $15 cinema?
I was thinking of treating myself and DH, as part of my Mothers Day gift

Oh I'm still dribbling over the idea of that....I've looked at the website before....don't you basically get a lazy boy type chair, limited people and drinks and nibbles bought to you?

They have them in Courtney Place and are great for long movies, saw LOTR and Star Wars and was really comfy. You can pay less and just have the seats without the popcorn, drinks bit.

At Reading it does when we went is was $25 incl unlimited soft drink and popcorn. Or you could pay $17 and pay for your drinks and popcorn seperately. That was a few years ago, prices have gone up since.

I don't recall it saying anything about anything included in the $30 except the big fancy chair
I'll have to go have a harder look

so did you go????
what did u see???
have to admit last time we went it wasnt for a long movie etc - it was for DHs birthday and as he is a BIG kid we saw "Meet the Robinsons" a cartoon....but still fun
YEs popcorn and softdrink are always included at circle lounge...trying to grab someone to refill your drink during movie can be tricky tho....

They need one of these in Hamilton. I'd pay extra just so I don't have to sit with some kids who kick the back of your seat, throw popcorn etc etc.

Nah and I don't think we will.
There's nothing on that either of us want to see and I can't get over the $60 price tag even I can't eat that much popcorn to make it worthwhile
