Abby is just over two and fully toilet trained (clever girl virtually did it herself)

My problem is she wipes herself most of the time when she goes, but she has a really strong smell about her. She has a bath every night and still by mid morning she gets a bit smelly and I really feel embarrassed about it. Especially when she goes to daycare, I don't want her to be the "smelly" kid there. This is not normal for a girl is it???

Any suggestions PLEASE

maybe you'll have to go back over wiping with her...is the smell urine or the other.? cause if urine then maybe she isnt as toilet trained as you think!?

Yeh it is urine, but it's not from accidents, her knickers are always dry and they smell fine (not that I'm in the habit of sniffing them) it's just her. When she used to go in the potty that used to smell really bad as well (not that I'm into sniffing those either) but you could smell it when you emptied it.

Maybe we do need to check she is wiping herself proparly Duh why didn't I think of that>

Hannah smells too... I don't know what the deal is.

I give her a once over with a wet flannel every now and again but really I just think it confirms my thoughts that kids are smelly little creatures.

Once again, highly useful words of wisdom from me. Apologies for talking crap as usual

Their urine actually shouldnt smell that strong. I know with teething it gets a bit more concentrated. Maybe give her a bit more water to drink. What is the colour of the urine if I may ask? If it is dark yellow she needs more water. If it is like really pale then it is fine.

(except first morning pee is always a little bit darker.)

Ella sometimes smells like that too.
She's in the process of TT so I wrote it off as a bit of leakage.
I do like Nikki and give her a wash with a flannel when I notice it.
