Cord blood is kept for emergency things like if your baby needs a blood transfusion or something similar. One of my friends son's got leukemia at 11 and luckily my friend Bridgette had kept her other son's cord blood, so they were able to use that for his treatment.

Yes, I think you are correct GSMUM.
They can’t use the stored blood for next baby. You have to do them separately and store them separately. I am planning to have my second with in 2 years so I don’t think I can afford this service. I pray and hope that I won’t regret it later. ------------- http://lilypie.com">
