Just wondering if anyone knows how to get a discount at Baby Factory?

In the bounty pregnancy book there is a voucher for 10% off at Babycity.......just wondering if there is such a thing at Baby Factory?

Contact Baby Factory and see if they have any email lists going ATM with discounts and specials advertised. I think they still do run those.

I'm on their emailing list but the cot I'm hoping to buy isn't on special at the moment and I'm DYING to buy one!!! Just thought if I had a voucher I'd go in and get one, instead of waiting months and months hoping the cot I want comes on special.

Its just that Farmers are having a card holders day on Thurs with 30% off nursery and I'd get it from there if I saw one I liked. Seems the best selection is at Baby Factory (havn't had a chance to get to Baby City as we don't have one in my town).

Yes baby factory do a 12.5% off sale every couple of months - the last one was 15th of April. Usually your midwife can sort this out for you - mine had never heard of this but she phoned head office for me & got them to post me out a voucher before the last one they had - (a voucher is what your midwife can normally give you.) You can phone them on 0800222932.

When i went to the last baby factory sale the girl at the counter quietly told me they usually have the vouchers available at the counter too.

Also if you spend over $1000 they give you 10% discount, could be something for over $500 too, but I cant remember. We ended up spending over $1000 - stroller and other stuff!!!

Justme - thanks for that tip. Have written down the number and will give them a call to investigate. Read somewhere on this website about the sale Baby Factory has every few months. Now that I'm "bargain" hunting perhaps I'll be more aware of their next sale. Will definately be looking out for it this time!!!

Appreciate your help!!!

no worries salifer - I didn't know when the next sale was on - thanks!

also try kiwibaby, found them to be quite good value - usually quite small stores but this keeps their overheads down..

We went in looking at the P & T stroller then asked them if they could do us a deal if we bought capsule, stroller & cocoon - they knocked off a decent amount for us

I know an online place that is a bit cheaper than retail and free delivery in NZ (over $25)

http://www.winkalotts.co.nz - winkalotts

I'm planning on getting our buggy from there, after I've given it a good try out in a store somewhere.

My husband also suggested that if you are planning on getting 2-3 large items to just go into a store and ask what sort of discount is available. Remember that things are always marked-up heaps!!

oh yeah that's right becsscolly - winkalotts are really reasonably priced too. I forgot about them - kiwibaby & winkalotts prices are pretty much the same - when we were at kiwibaby the lady there said they deal/communicate with winkalotts & prices are usually the same - if not they will match them.

We only used kiwibaby because we wanted to see the products before purchasing them but I suppose you can do this at any store & buy them at the cheapest place.
