Did you get any side affects from it? Did you take it the same day everyday or just morning and night? And how long after taking it did you get your period?

I have been taking it since Friday afternoon and I am just feeling a little pukey like I want to throw up.

Hi kiwigal, I didn't take that drug (I havn't heard of that one before either) to bring on my AF but i did take Provera I guess they do the same sort of thing, one of the side effects of the provera was nausea (sp?) so it might be a side effect of that one too. Sorry I can't be much more help but i hope you feel a bit better soon.

Ive just done a quick bit of research, and while it it is used to control irregular periods, it is also used to POSTPHONE a period. Not sure of the logistics of it, but it is actually a contraceptive. Also goes by the trade name Primolut N. Its a progestogen.

Hope that helps? Sorry I cant be of more help with the side effects, have you tried water crackers and ginger products? Im on pain meds that often cause nausea and I find these to really help.

Best of luck!

Bumblefoot (sorry I don't know your name) thanks for the info.I am feeling a lot better now and not feeling yucky.

Our coordinator said that a/f should arrive 2-7 days after taking it.I finish my course on Thursday so hopefully it won't take too long for a/f to arrive.
