Does anyone else constantly freak out about being pregnant?

I swear I'm going nuts.

ETA - If I get my period this month I will be infinitely grateful and will be a good girl for evermore.

after i had xanthe i could feel phantom kicks for months and would work myself into such a state about it lol.

this time round i have not been paranoid, because i am not on the pill and we are only using condoms for protection - and we are pretty careful about it.
we did use to freak ourselves out when we first started back into special cuddles (ahem after *8* days ) by thinking of the age gap if i did get pregnant - and what if this one was early too! etc.

now i am just too damn tired, i think my eggs are even trying to get some sleep, so not much chance of it happening.

Yep I do. But I think for a total different reason. I am scared of another mc. Even more now that I had my daughter. We are also only planning to ttc when she is 3 so not the right time yet.

Hehe, yup!
I managed to convince myself I was pregnant last week despite the fact that I'm well covered between the Mirena and B/F and had to test just to shut my stupid brain up!
Actually, I'm thinking it might be worth my while buying one of those 100 test packs seeing as I'm so prone to irrational pregnancy panics and don't get periods with the IUS.

In my pre-TTC days, I used to spend most of the month praying And since I was always forgetting pills, I was always making deals with the big guy upstairs that if he'd let me get away with it that month, I'd be good forever and ever ...until next time. We had a start-over policy in place

Don't panic just yet... there have been a number of threads with the same theme started by me.

P.S. You do remember I now have a Tobin right? (If that's what you were getting at! )

I am kind of tempted to go into a chemist and buy a pregnancy test just to see the look on the shop assistants face

He he he... that's gorgeous, Toni!

and yep - I've had one pregnancy scare (funny how we call them that) since Ella's arrival and since then recently worried a LOT that I was up the duff.  I'm not, BTW.  I get what you mean about the phantom kicks too, Lyla - who knew a bit of gas could be so very freaky?!?

I had the same paranoia about 8 months ago

Paranoia is over as my period has arrived!!! Jumped for joy this morning, I tell ya.

But it does mean that my cycles are of varying lengths - anything from 26 days to 30 days (in the last 4 months) so I don't think charting etc is for me... I'd be forever second guessing myself.

So off to make an appt at Family Planning clinic on Monday. Don't want this amount of anxiety ever again... would much rather have a planned baby in a few years!
