Hi everyone.
I hope I'm allowed to do this. As you all, may know, we are doing up our house, and need to be living in the house before bubs is born. Well, time and money is short so I entered a competition with a local radio station for a $25,000 extreme makeover. You don't actually get the cash but over a dozen businesses have donated products and services. The way it works is, you send in a photo and in one hundred words or less why you think you should win, then the manager picks out 5 of the most deserving homes and posts them on a web site. Then people vote on which house they think needs the extreme makeover, the most. The winner is the one with the most votes, so,,,,,, we need you all to vote for us(and don't forget to tell your friends as well). Our house is, "house B"(the one with the lights on). For people who live in NZ, if you vote, you go into a draw to win $250 worth of petrol vouchers. For those living outside of NZ, I don't know if you can vote or not but I rung the radio station and they said, if you can log on, you can vote. So,,, like I said, PLEASE vote for us. Unfortunately we didnt win, but I'd like to thank everyone who voted for us. The winner was house "A" with the 4 kids. We'll just keep on working as we have and hope we get it to a liveable state before bubs is born

bummer you didnt win - on the bright side tho the baby only needs some of it liveable for a little while - i would aim to have it finished by the time they are crawling - take some pressure off yourselves.
