Hello,
Can you please tell me what you use to get rid of all those nasty food stains out of your childrens clothes? I've tried so many things but nothing is working. I manage to not get much on Andy's cloths while he is eating but ages later he'll spew pumpkin all over himself! Why does he never spew when he has eaten clear things like apples??!! HELP!!! Can't stand the stains!!!

You have probably already tried it, but I have only ever used napisan (soaked overnight) and everything seems to come out really well. So far haven't had anything that won't come out anyway including dreaded pumpkin!

The other thing we use to soak in if need be is EcoStore Oxygen Whitener, seems to be really gentle on clothes, although I'm sure Napisan could work just as well. Once you've soaked them run them through a hot wash or even just a rinse in your machine.

We use Napisan Oxyaction and it works really well and we have had not stains yet.

I don't think there is anything that will totally get out the dreaded pumpkin stain

I just always made sure she had a bid on that had already been stained rather than ruining the rest

try soaking them longer in nappy san for real stubbon stains i soak for a week and wash in hot water gets most stains out tomato stains come out in the sun as well as others so i always dry in the sun the sun kills all the bugs as well. i find that a dryer makes some stains worse.

We use the Napisan oxyaction too, it's pretty good, but like Toni said, pumpkin is particularly evil. And Sienna has a habit of wiping her mouth on her sleeve

Pumpkin ain't got nothing on carrot!!

I throw dirty stuff in a bucket of water and leave it soaking until I next do a load of laundry - seems to help avoid lots of stains.  But I do think all bibs should just be pizza-coloured to start with.  What's with the cute patterened white ones - it's madness!!!

Maybe I should lay of the pumpkin and carrot mix then Andie! lol

I've been soaking in the Ecostore Oxygen stuff. Sometimes for a week. Have been Frending too. So annoying to soak for a week and then wash only to have things come out stained and have to start the process again. Only just manage to get the washing done as it is! Hopefully we will get some sun one day soon so Mothernature can help. Life would be so much simplier if babies just stayed on the boobies forever.

LOL I've been soaking a pile of Emma's clothes for about a week now too, in hopes of getting some nasty food stains out. It's a pain! I've been using Napisan as well but am about to give up hope as it doesn't seem to do the trick anymore. I read a thread on here where someone suggested soaking for three weeks -- I might just try that next...

i know from past experience that boiling some water adding some napisan and dabbing it on the area removes red wine stains ...maybe do that then put it in the wash

mmmmm wine

soaking for 3 weeks?? Hell, the rate that Andy is going he'd have out grown the clothes before they are washed. lol

Might try the napisan dabbing next. Tonight Andy tried on one of Emma Roses sleep sacks which Katherine lent us. It was on for 2 mins and he spewed pumpkin all over it! Hope I can get it out. Otherwise Katherine will kill me!!
