i am sad...two days in a row my baby (okay so hes nearly 2 and not technically a baby) has wanted to get up and have breakfast instead of stay in bed and have cuddles and a bf with mummy...

and just now he woke up crying (not sure why but his cup was empty and he is addicted to milk in his cup) and i went to try and settle him and he literally pushed me away from him...

My baby doesnt want me...and i am heart broken... he's always been my mummys boy and now he prefers dad

Sorry to hear that Deb.

On the plus side, when I gave up BF I found i has so much more energy. You have done a fantastic job to BF this long.

Hugs Deb. I felt rejected when Joey weaned himself off too but after a few days relished the "freedom". You are an amazing mum to have kept BF for so long!!

BTW Joey seems to be going through a real "papa" phase at the moment too. Maybe it's an age thing?? Maybe our boys are realising they are boys..? Does that sound weird... anyway will stop thread jacking now Hugs again

I cried at my last bf for quinn too. He didn't care but it was a bit of a sad moment for me too!

Quinn is really into his dad at the moment, doesn't
want anything to do with me either!

Aw Deb... that sucks. I'm sure he still loves you more than ever... just values you for more than your boobs

Atleast you can say you successfully did child-led weaning!

Make the most of it Hubby can be on babysitting duty and you should take yourself off to the movies or something!

I was so sad when Jack didn't want me too. You should be so proud you bf for as long as you did. It is great to have your boobs back and wear nice bras.

welll, he doesnt appear to have stopped wanting bf completely...but more often than not he prefers to have brekkie with daddy than bf with mummy...and i'm ok with it now.

thanks for being so supportive tho, it helped make me feel better...
