I'm carrying alot of fluid around my ankles (cankles!!!) and was wondering if wearing my flight socks would help or hinder?

The physio gave me tubigrip, which I guess works in the same way as flight socks? It seemed to help. -------------  Maya Grace (28/02/03)

I had massive cankles and nothing else helped me - I had tried sleeping with my feet elevated and keeping them up on a little chair under my desk during the day to no avail. Those socks were a godsend even after the birth until I got rid of the extra fluid - I got the dr scool ones from the pharmacy and LOVED them!

Are they the same as the socks you are given when having surgery (ie c sections??). I used mine for a bit (I got them when I had my endo taken out) hard to get on but once on fine. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |
