Well, before I had Sam I used to spend all day by myself just hanging out watching TV, doing crossword puzzles, listening to music and waiting for him to be born..

Now that he's here I am so busy that I hardly have time for all of that..

Now.. My sister and step-mum have taken him out for the afternoon to give me a little break so that I can sleep, have a bath and relax.

They've only just left and I feel a bit lost! Should I try to get some sleep straight away as I know I won't be getting much when he gets back, or should I have a nice lunch, take a bath and just chill out?

I miss him already as it's the first time we've been apart!

Hehe enjoy yourself, rest up (even if you only rest by lying in the bath). It sure does feel weird, I couldn't leave Hannah until she was 6 weeks old.
