If I ever need a skin graft there is a healthy amount of skin that I would quite happily give up to repair another part of my, or someone elses body

everytime my beautiful 3 and a half year old sees my tummy he rubs it and goes "mummy ouch" followed by a big kiss. Then when I say he did it he goes "no micheal did" (his big brother) Brightens my day.

Um... Stripes are excellent camouflage should I ever be hiding in the jungle...?

hehehehehe Every time I read this I laugh so much I get tears in my eyes!

My stripey tummy means that I'll never make the mistake of wearing a midriff top again, saving cringe-worthy moments when looking back on photos

I read on another message board:

"Stretch marks are pregnancy service stripes"

AMEN

I felt this topic needed a revival...

And thought of another one -
My silvery lines give my body a nice shine in the light

Babies grow up and leave home, at least I'll always have my stretch marks to remind me of them!

Always carry some textas with you when bub gets a little bigger and you have instant hours of fun! You can play "join the lines", "find the lines hiding under mummies tummy" "redecorate the red stripes" and when they are finished with the front you can always turn around because no doubt there will be hours more fun on the love handles and the thighs. Too much fun to have in one day!
