(not as exciting as Aimee's "look what I made" lol)

This is the trial run of the birthday cake

I'm pretty proud of myself considering I'm not very artist/creative

Wonder if it will keep until the 21st July?

I don't think it is fit for eating! It's double iced, I tried to use that roll out icing first, but it looked aweful so I put the butter icing on top of that

Hate to say it, but I would still give it a go eating it hehehe. THe rolled out icing may come off easily when it is cut up too... (can you tell I love cake!)

that would be heaps easier when I have to remove them all before the other 1yr olds can eat the cake (don't think little hard silver balls would go down to well)

I read the title and did think that it was a cake not a baby, but thought damn, wish I had thought of that and was going to be really rude an put a pic of my cake I made in the weekend on here but now I see I don't have to cos there is another thread just for me to gloat, so I am about to put a pic of DD's 2nd bday cake on the cake thread.

Oh and well done, your cake is awesome, it is so pretty, and I'm sure two layers of icing just will add to the flavour, I'd still eat it!!
