Roared while you were having SEX do you mean? I don't recall my DH ever roaring (quietly or otherwise), but does purring count?

Well since you put it like that, yes i mean roaring while having SEX. (Geez. thought i was being discrete) We laugh about it now but it was very ... um ... unusual.

I knew a girl who once knew a guy who would yell at the top of his lungs 'FUUUUUUUUUUUCK'.

lolol.. hubby is going "why the hell would you roar?"
and of course us ladies are the first ones to comment. anything that is labelled as not being for us.. is a sure sign that we HAVE to read it... its our way of getting more insight into the male mind. he he.. not that we don't already have a fair idea.

That's probably along the lines of what I'm talking about. Although I wont say that particular word. at that time
mum2paris wrote:

The roar came (lol) from deep down (lol). I don't know why the hell i roared. I just did and wanted to see if other guys did. 'Course no 'normal' guy would ever talk about that stuff to strangers either. What can i say... IT was great.
No offense meant mum2paris, but sometimes I wonder. If guys don't know themselves or what theyr supposed to do or be, then how can women (who have their own set of rules that changes with the weather) understand men whom are totally different?

I was wondering what you meant by roaring. And of course us girls read this...we're nosy...er I mean....trying to be helpful. *ahem*.
No roaring here....purring maybe, sometime wild shrieking but no roaring.
I can also vouch for the fact the neighbours don't roar either. Must talk to them about closing thier windows if they MUST do that in the middle of the day.

Just a general note on the women commenting - Using 'TMI' in the topic is usually like a giant red flashing sign which says "READ ME!!!" And in this case... oh boy, I'm glad I did. hahaha

LOL Chovy we read it anyway because on Oh Baby "TMI" in a subject line usually means a question about sex, surgery, menstration, or pregnancy/labour symptoms... and as this thread was started by a man, that means it was more likely to be about the first two than any of the others!
As to your specific question... not that I've noticed

Why am I even posting?
Oh dear.
There has been a roar-like noise from DH on occasion ... it's a really deep belly thing. Very primal. The dogs usually leap on the bed to see what's what!

LMAO I had a secretary once who came to work with a black eye...took me ages that day to get it out of her but turns out things took a "wild" turn while she was *on top* and she smacked her head on the head board...I collapsed on floor laughing at her for that one!!! took her a while to live down!!!

Oh, good heavens above! The only squeeling that goes on in our bedroom is me. I'm horrendously ticklish. Once, I went to the Osteo because I was having back issues, and I'd never been before. He went to lay hands on my back and I started squeeling and laughing, and lauged so hard I fell off the bed! It took another 3 months worth of visits to fix the neck that I nearly broke falling off the bed!!

Had to read this! Lol about the staple in the head! Must have hurt though (supposed to be an 'ow' face) Made me remember a funny story... I once set a guy's room on fire. He was trying to be really sweet and romantic and had candles set up but ummmm, the candles got kicked over and his curtains caught fire. They light pretty quick!!
He he Ginger! Ouch too! Roaring.... I don't think so. Guys make all kinds ofg strange noises though! Have to agree with Nikkiwhyte about the pig squealing too - that's just wrong!

O.o
I think.... it's about time people talked about this stuff. Hopefully women get a better understanding of men and men get a better understanding of themselves. I'm not ashamed of "roaring." (a little embarrased i guess but not ashamed) I think sex is great. I think my DW is great. I think a lot of guys get too caught up in the strong and silent stereotypes or just plain don't know who they are. I know it's been a long time for me to get a sense of who I am.

Chovy - I think its an awesome (maybe slightly pervy) thread. But great that you are open, honest and willing to talk about these things.
I think people take themselves far too seriously on the whole, and given that a large percentage of the population DO actually have sex at some stage...then this shouldnt be a wierd conversation!!!
For the record - no roaring as such in our house, but there are certainly distinctive sounds / phrases that are associated with it.

Or what about this (and im sure some of you have heard this).. "Don't get married at (fill in the blank.. usually around 20ish) It's too young" ... "uh... didnt YOU GUYS get married at that age?" ... " Yeah but we didn't... (whatever excuse it is)"
Honestly. I think one of the possible reasons there's so many problems to do with sex is cuz most people dont talk about it. It's "taboo", who knows why.
Communication. That's what it all about. Communication is the most important thing in any human relationship.
Ok. I think I've hijacked my own thread.
