I just made some, and they seem to be hanging together ok except for a bit of fraying on the edges (but that could also be the fact that my sewing sucks!) I figure it's just an insert for me though, so I don't mind as long as it does the job.
Other option is to do a straight stitch nearly all the way around and turn them inside out, so you get the seam on the inside. Not sure how to do this with three layers though. HTH. |

| Why don't you make a flat insert that you fold in three? even sewing two layers together for a trifold would give you 6 layers... Ya get me? That's probably the easiest way to keep it looking nice and holding them together. |

Zigzag will be fine. A shorter (but wide) stitch would work best.  -------------  |

I'm buying some insert material next week and my mum os going to be cutting them and sewing so i'll ask her what she's doing. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |
