Krystiana has quickly got herself some bright red cheeks tonight, has been unusually grizzly today, and has a temp of 38.2
Teething doesn't cause fever though, does it?

I think over 38 is probably more than teething. Fay ran a low grade temp of about 37.5 while she has been teethng this week. Mind you don't listen to me I put her kidney infection down to teething until her temp hit 38.9 eeek.
Can you get her checked out anywhere tonight just in case, its on the high side I think (If it was a patient at work I would advise them to get it checked and look for other symptons)

I agree, she doesn't look too well, poor wee thing! And if the weather there is anything like it is up here it's so cold and miserable you'd be loathe to take a sick child out in in to the doctor
Has she had Pamol? Has it made any difference to the fever?

oooh porr little darling. Hope she will be ok soon. Harlan did not have a red nose, and generally only one side (cheek) was red. Temp was up as well. Good Luck.

I gave her Pamol in between those two posts (of mine), she was really tired so I have put her to bed but I'll check her before I go down. If she's still like that in the morning I'll have to take her to the after hours. Beats me why kids don't all get sick on Mondays!

Being sick at the weekend is part of the baby rule isn't it? Hope you get a good night

Yep, babies only know how to get sick on weekends. I spent six weekends in a row at Starship with Maya when she was 9 months old, yet during the week she seemed to be fine

My neighbours little girl (now 3) always got a fever when she was teething. She would get so sick, poor wee thing, that more often than not, it was off to A & E in the wee smalls, or cold baths at about midnight-2am to try and bring the fevers down. This probably isn't that helpful, but thought I'd put my 2 cents in anyway ... I hope she gets better soon busymum!

Seems to be better this morning; certainly the rash and fever have died down.

Kryssi had a really long sleep this afternoon, when she finally woke I went to get her and half of her sheet was wet from vomit, as well as all her clothes and hair - and it was green
Got her up and changed and fed and yep she chucked again, all over me! Not just a power chuck but a series of tummy clenches. She's a bit pale now, no fever or red cheeks anymore, she has now had a feed and kept it down... I suspect she'll sleep long tonight (she's just started sleeping through this week but I haven't given her any solids for dinner so we'll see). Poor girl, and here's hoping it doesn't pass on to any of us - and that she gets better soon.

Poor thing, and poor mum having to watch her be sick too, it's no fun seeing our babies not feeling well.
Hope she's better soon.
