I would love to hear from anyone else out there who had cramping whilst early pregnant.

I am only just over 4 weeks and have had cramping for a day or so, had bloods done today and all good but worried as never had them with the last pregnancy and since the mc can't relax about anything....

Are they quite common??

Ease my mind ladies!!

Yep I did, both times, and I turned into a terrible knicker checker. My M/W told me that second and subsequent pregnancies feel worse, cramping wise, because you are more aware of it. Big hugs, chick, I 've got a good feeling "in my waters" for you!

Hi Emma

Yip I have had cramping or it feels more like pain down there, it was worse when my period was due and up until about a few days ago. I never had this with my last pregnancy either. I also have a sore back to go with it which I can't remember from last time. It feels so different this time than last.

Yup, I had it so bad the second time round that I went to my doc at 5 weeks and then again at 6 weeks!
She told me the same as Annie's MW, it is worse with second and subsequent pregnancies as the muscles are re-stretching.
All the best for a happy healthy pregnancy Emma!

I had a bit of cramping between 6-8 weeks which is apparently quite normal as your stretching or something? All the best!

Yep I had cramping, not so much now, now is more like niggy pains not really sore ones tho just sort of there if ya know what I mean lol.
But yeah unless your cramping is really painful and you have bleeding at the same time, then its normal cramping.

Yep Emma I had some cramping in weeks 5 - 7 but it's pretty much calmed down now - just some odd niggles (not counting my weird wind attack )

Also Emma I don't know your circumstances from when you had Ben but if you had a c-section you may feel things more too as its just everything coming away, well that is what my midwife told me anyway (hence having a c-section with Lockie).

Kaz - when I was just over 4 weeks preg this time I really thought I was going to m/c again and thought each time I went to the loo and then wiped there would be blood - but after about a week the cramping stopped... don't stress chick, it's normal!

I've been cramping since 4 or 5 weeks. Totally feels like AF cramps! But I was told it's just everything stretching so eventually I have learnt to enjoy the cramping and I imagine Boc having a nice big stretch lol
