Can anyone help? We have been trying for baby number two for a while and I am now on Clomiphene (Clomid). I have had three cycles with no success but each time I have felt sure I conceived as I felt nauseous within a couple of days of O and stayed feeling sick up until 10 days after O (about the time of implantation) when I stopped feeling sick and started spotting. I have read that Clomiphene can cause problems with implantation. My doctor wants me to keep taking Clomiphene but now I'm worried it's having an adverse effect. with my first child I felt ill a couple of days after conception too so I know what it feels like and am pretty sure I'm conceiving each time. would appreciate hearing from anyone with similar experience or advice.

Hi, yes mentioned it to the doctor and he said it was unlikely I was pregnant - but I know I wasn't imagining the nausea and dizziness and sore boobs. Info from the internet says Clomiphene just exhanges one prob for another, easier to conceive but can have probs with implantation - I might not take it for a couple of months and see what happens.

The only side affect I get from taking clomid is a bit of nausea.

I know some women take longer on clomid and others that don't take long at all. With my son I got pregnant on the second month of taking it.

We are trying for #2 and last month I was on 50 mgs the same amount when I got pregnant with my son and didn't do anything this time and this month I am on 100mgs so hopefully I have better luck this time around.

Thanks for your reply. when do you experience the nausea? Is it when you are taking it for the 5 days or later on in the cycle? I feel fine when I'm taking it, it's not until after O that I feel nauseous, which is why I think I'm falling pregnant and it's just not implanting. Sooo upsetting as I get myself all psyched up each month only to be disappointed.
