i had a pretty sad week last week, on friday a friend of mine and girl i grew up with died of a blood clot.
She was only 24 the month before, she had got married in march and had given birth to a beautiful girl 3 weeks before.
The unfairness of it is hard for me to comprehend-her daughter only turned a month yesterday and her mummy didnt even live to see that, let alone her first smile, or first steps or any of the things we often take for granted.

It just really brought home to me the simple truth that tomorrow isnt gauranteed to anyone and that just cos were mums and we're needed so much, we are still vulnerable, and today can be the last-so i guess what im trying to say is while you are able, let your kids know all the time how much you love them, cos one day , you may not have the chance .....

thanks for your hugs and support guys

yeah Busymum, babies got her daddy to look after her but they will stay at my friends parents for awhile cos her husband is obviously devastated and so nana and granddad can help out with their precious granddaughter.
Baby slept the whole funeral service on wednesday, and her nana (my friend's mum ) held her the whole time and when she got up to speak she said baby was her anchor and she was afraid of collapsing if she didnt hold her
:( and my friends dad started his speech off by thanking her husband, for making his little girl so happy.
It was the saddest funeral ive been to,everyone was in shock it still doesnt seem real.....

Isn't it awful what some people go through? Life is incredibly unfair, and it makes you so grateful for what you have, and it really puts things into perspective.

thanks again for your hugs and caring thoughts guys, you know i dont know if its because we're mums (or soon to be mums) and therefore know how to be unselfish and think about others, but i find it interesting that of all the forums i've posted about my friends passing, this is the only one that people have shown they care, so for that,I thankyou.
