Right now it is spotless! Spent the hole day cleaning with Caitlin in the sling on my back. Don't know why I never thought of it before, she loved it, even with the vacumm going (she's terrified of it usually)

Well, we do a family cleanup between 4.45 and 5.15 roughly, before dinner (after 5.30). But then the girls play again between dinner and bedtime (6.45) so it's already messy in the lounge!

Aside from that we have about 4 places in the house where stuff collects until I find a place for it to go. And they have been piling up a bit lately. But the downstairs living room, the laundy and the bedrooms are tidy!

Our house is really clean at the moment. Except for the garage that I have to do tomorrow and then bubs room which is the study right now as well. So lots of paperwork. Should be all sorted next week when our houseguest move into his own place and the study can move again.

Did springcleaning. Want to do the oven and the lounge windows tomorrow.

My house is generally always tidy and vauumed. Not always clean (bathrooms, dusting etc) but I always like things neat and tidy. At the moment, there are 2 clothes racks out which annoy me and the dishes need to go in the dishwasher, but otherwise tidy.

Same as Aimee, I'm pretty much always cleaning.. on weekends when we're all home, it turns into a bombsite with Ella and DP's messes

At the moment it's not so tidy.. just had 3 kids over so there are some toys here and there.. and everywhere lol

Not very right now. Just little things like bits and pieces needed to be put away. Nothing major.

We could always arrange a tour of different people's homes for our men so they know what other ones look like usually.... oh plus a little extra since those mothers will be let in on the secret

Clean - Yes
Tidy - I can only dream!

DH used to comment on the state of the house when he comes home, until the other day he came home and it was spotless (like I might add it is every morning). Then after a few hours of three children playing etc it looked like a dump site.

AHHH he says now I see what you mean. I can't wait until the kids go back to school and then at least I am guaranteed 6 hours of a tidy house.

Depends on the time of the day and if its holiday etc.. More untidy when we are all home as more stuff is out eg books, dvds, stationary, clothes etc However my 11yr old is a tidy freak so she constantly tiding the lounge, kitchen, bedroom etc. I clean the house top to toe once a week apart from dishes, washing and vaccuming which Iis done daily.

Very tidy at the moment we had an open home yesterday so we had to clean for that but before then it looked like a bomb went off

I'm really anal about clean (anyone else polish their toaster? ), but DH is the complete opposite, so we've had to find a happy medium. I've managed to get him down to 1 pair of muddy walking boots on the carpet in my lounge instead of 6

Having 2 inside/outside dogs in winter is a bit of a disaster, but we rub them down with towels etc to try and keep dirt down, and DH vacuums every day/every other day.

If things go out the window for a few weeks, it's usually just things like cleaning the windows ... though I can't stand dirty windows so that was probably a bad example

Yep sure do & my sink & jug etc. I have a nightly ritual where i have to polish the sink to get all the water marks out before i go to bed. I dont do the toaster/jug daily tho

My toaster/jug thing is a once a weeker (usually) too ... but the sink thing is every day as well

It's one of those little things around the house that I can control, which vaguely offsets DH's shoes!

Sink and taps for me! I have gone without it being done for a while now because I could never bring myself to ask my home help to "oh and please make sure the sink and taps are tidy when you have finished in the kitchen" LMAO!

um, washing is done, but am trying to be more conscientious when it comes to using the dryer, so living room is festooned with sheets, towels etc hanging off clothes horses.

Apart from that, place is tidy and is cleanish. Usually pick a room each day and clean/tidy that. Pick a chore each day and do that. Not fetishist about implement/utensil polishing and think garages are places to store junk.

Our house is very tidy at the moment, have had real estate agents here so we can list it. It was really messy and dirty tho, been doing a few renovations to get it ready to sell.
Usually it pretty clean and tidy except for when James pulls out ALL his toys.
