Hi all,
This relates to the North Shore City council, but I'm pretty sure that most local councils would have one -
North Shore city council has a 'Create your own Eden' pack which includes information on how to compost, worm farm and a few discounts to get you started. http://www.northshorecity.govt.nz/our_environment/waste_minimisation/create-your-own-eden.htm - LINK
There's also the Kaipatiki Project on the shore - with loads of cheap courses and information http://www.kaipatiki.org.nz/index.htm - Another link

Lucky people, for us we have a greeny mayor but hasn't done a thing about getting her rate payers doing this stuff. All she has done is take away our free rubbish bags and tell us to recycle more. What she should do is get on with the cloth nappies and give a discount and make it easier to recycle.
------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

lol becks.. she can't do that, no money in the budget because they put too much money on other crap projects that too many other councillors "think everyone wants"
