Are boys or girls cheaper to buy for.
I vote girls.
They need so much more to make just one outfit dresses and tops leggings and matching shoes for each outfit, Boys on the other hand jeans tee a hoodie same shoes and your away.
Tho my Pumpkin patch problem has cost me alot so boys can also cost your pocket.

I only have boys so I can't really say. But as toys go I have found between me and my friend she has far too many choices so ends up spending far too much on her daughter.

I would say that girls are deff more costly as you said there is alot that goes into a girls outfit, I am hoping for at least one boy this time round and I also think that as the girls get older they are just going to cost more!
I do admit I have a slight PP addiction as well

I had a friend say to me when I was pregnant with the gremlins "OMG, three girls, imagine what that's going to cost you in sanitary products when they're teenagers!"
But when I thought about it, teenage girls don't eat, they starve themselves, whereas teenage boys eat you out of house and home (trust me, I know, I have two 6ft+ brothers!) so it all evens out in the end

I only have a boy so cant really say, but my guess would be girls. I know if I had a girl I would spend heaps more coz the clothes are just so cute

BOTH are as equal as each other I say. I spent less on Mercedes because she got her sisters stuff, including toys, clothes, shoes etc.. As for Alize well the novelty of having a boy has done nothing to help the budget And the fact that I never own any boys gear at all means I use the excuse to myself that I can indulge in boys toys, clothes etc. (I guess the same as having a girl for the first time)

My vote is with boys being cheaper too - for the simple reason that it is far more tempting to buy clothes for girls. Boys don't give a stuff!! And girls have many more accessories - tights etc.
btw your signature is very cute! I was trying to work it out though and it took me a little while to see the 'O' (like, um, is that 'liver'?) haha

Tell me about it Emma, DSS has moved in with us, and my groceries for the week cost an extra $100 and I will have to top up fruit, bread and milk by weeks end...

I reckon boys are cheaper. Just give them a stick and they can turn it into a gun.
Give a stick to a girl and she wants a dolly. Next thing you know she's asking for a car. After that "I waaaaaanntttt toooooo ggeeeeeeeeeetttttt maaaaaaaarrrrrrrrriiiiiiieeeeddddd" That alone costs anywhere from 2k to $200,000k (depending on her father), Then she wants kids!!! starts the whole freaking cycle all over again only this time YOU have to pay for your daughters wedding.

lolol, you just reminded me of a few books paris has gotten out of the library.. has anyone else seen em "if you give a pig a pancake.." and "if you take a mouse to the movies" theres more too, but lol you so just sounded like them!
Anyway, I must say, girls are soooo much dearer, i am dreading my girls teenage years, seriously.
yeah they might starve em'selves, but think of the make-up, sanitary stuff, makeup, jewellery (expecially my girls who already have a thing for jewellery thanks to mummys love of all things sparkly), clothes jewellery, make-up, clothes and accessories and more clothes and jewellery, purses, sunnies, hairties. lol. oooh and shoes!!!
what scares me is that well, we got paris into wearing a lip-balm (strawberry of course) cos her nervous habit is picking at her lips (causing sores and splits.. icky), but now, her little sis has to have a strawberry one too, mine are gonna be doubley troubley i think.
he he Emma.. just imagine how much quicker the gremlins are going to want those things once Maya gets em.. at least my two aren't terribly far apart in age!

I'd have to say boys are equal. Abbys clothes cost me more but we have to buy shoes for the boys every couple of months so that kind of makes up for it.

AH yes MHJ - I m already training Ella to say - Diamonds and Gold Diamonds and Gold!!!!
hence how i got my diamonds plate for mothers day!!! LOL!!!
Girls are much dearer - her wardrobe is already three times the size of mine, she has more shoes (courtesy of bobux opening down the road), and her toys need their own playroom!!!

So totally agree with you there, Andrew will turn anything into a gun at the moment and I was so the little girl that got everything she wanted for her wedding cos daddy had an open wallet (I was good and didn't go that overboard (my dress was only $600 but it was my dress) but I still got more or less everything I wanted). I dread to actually think how much my parents paid for my wedding (I know my mum has calculated it up and it's nothing on DH's parents ($945) .

I don't have girls but if I did - I think I would spend faaaaaaaarrrrr more than on a boy. There is so much more variety for girls that I would just go nuts shopping. With boys - I think your more limited in what is available.

Boys are cheaper. Tooo much choice for gils clothes. I would go so nuts sopping.. boys clothes are quite limited with what you can get, and then what you like of what you can get....

at playcentre thje girls always look so nice and will sit nicely and play, whereas if I put nice things on the boys for playcentre or around home - guaranteed it ends up smeared in something. So I'm less inclined to buy things for them - my nana also spends a small fortune so I don;t need to, HOWWEVER they still have enough toys to require an extra room. I must admit though, have started shopping for my friends already -they have twin girls due september and everytime I walk into PP i can't ersist something little.
OT - Jake and taine are playing "ropw row row your boat" right now and it's soooo cute!
boys ARE [pricey for food. taine eats the same amount for breakfast as Lewis

I think boys a cheaper if I had a girl I would be in so much trouble. With the stuff I have got with James I just think it can be handed down so I don't mind buying him stuff but then I think if the next one is going to be a girl I will have to start all over again.
