I've always managed to be at the docs for imms with my DH on hand, or at least at home with the other girl(s).... until now. Because his work hours have changed he can't come anymore and on Monday I need to take all three girls to the docs, for Krystiana to have her 5m imms.
Suggestions? Advice? Who's been there? I don't know whether to explain it to Hannah (that the nurse has to give Kryssi a little hurt but it will make her more well... or something) or leave the girls in the waiting room for that bit, playing with the toys (but Briona will probably insist on staying with me, she's been like that recently)?

See if there is a spare nurse that can help and take the out while the actual jab is happening.

Maya actually chose to stay in the waiting room when the gremlins had their bilirubin heel pricks at about a week old, she watched me having blood tests while I was pregnant and decided she didn't like needles.
I agree with Becks tho, see if there is another nurse than can help out with Briona, or maybe you look after Briona and let the nurse hold Krystiana while she has her imms, thats what I do when the gremlins go for theirs. That way the one being jabbed doesn't blame me for giving them ouchies, and the one not being jabbed is happy with me.

I took Ella along last time Benjy got his needles, she was really good.
I told her that the nurse was going to give him 2 injections and that he might cry, but that he would be ok.
When we were in there I asked her if she could help him to be brave so she sang 'twinkle twinkle' to him while she did it and cuddled him after. It actually really helped, and was so sweet!
She was stoked cos she got a lollipop from the nurse too

Harry was so happy to be going to the doctors without being the patient that he was really helpful.
He tried to distract Alex and then when Alex was upset he'd rub his tummy and say 'its ok buddy' over and over. Very sweet
