cant remember the brand we are using at the moment, it is a variety box and has GLOW IN THE DARK ones too! flash! (haha, i meant flash condoms, not flash in the dark ,but it does that too )

am so over condoms though, so i am going back on the pill if the doc will perscribe it for me. just wish dh would get over himself and get the snip already! you didnt see me putting off giving birth because it was scary!

Well best Results are

Are they comfortable(I don't like tight ones)

Are they easy to get on?(This maybe why they don't get used)

Has any one tried flavered ones

Has any one tried glow in the dark ones?

Has anyone tried the new vibrating ones at $10.00 a go

Which brand is better has more of a natural feel.

I guess the big one is why don't people use them?

But I know GandT got a vibrating one from the Parent and Child show last year...

There was one type of condoms me and my ex bought and they were horrible (lol when we actually got around to using them shocking really!). They were those ones that are meant to feel like your not using a condom. ANyway, he hated them he said they were uncomfortable and tight and it would hurt me every time we'd use them. At first i thought it was me or something but when we stopped using them or used other ones it was fine.

I just looked them up cause i couldnt remember the name and they were "Ansell Contemp Nuda".

I guess im not much help with "best results". But thats my bad experience with them lol.

lol. Hate, hate hate them. Hubby has now had vasectomy and before that we tried natural family planning in between kids. but before kids we were condoms and pill.

So tried flavoured imo chocolate is better than banana. (or if no condom man must drink pineapple juice)
Ribbed meh, ribbed schmibed i say
and there is an ultrathin on the market that is quite good too.
and you can get them on perscription from the doc for cheap as chips.

Have fun experimenting

Are they comfortable(I don't like tight ones) dont know, cant ask dh as he would go growl me for talking about this stuff on here i have no complaints though

Are they easy to get on?(This maybe why they don't get used) ?yup, no problems getting them on

Has any one tried flavered ones yup, tastes like flavoured latex... although the pack we are using at the mo has mint flavoured ones, which is really nice! cool even

Has any one tried glow in the dark ones? yup again. only the tip is glow, which looks hilarious in the dark - not exactly a mood setter

Has anyone tried the new vibrating ones at $10.00 a go i got some for my hens night, did you know you can use them without the condom??? fun, but a little distracting lol

Which brand is better has more of a natural feel. no real preferance - but i know i hate the green durex packet, the ones you get on perscription for cheap - there is a reason it is cheap!

I guess the big one is why don't people use them they are just not the same as without

LMAO at being able to buy them from airport vending machines! And ROFLMAO at BS not letting BSDH be seen buying them from said dispenser!

And BSDH, I have no idea if she tried them, it's not something I ever thought to ask her. But you could always PM her for the gory details I'm sure Although the fact that she's knocked up suggests they aren't very functional.

And LMAO again (man that's a lot of laughing!) at Lyla's DH not letting her talk about "this stuff"

I don't think they were free at the show.

We got a big box of the standard durex ones 144 for $3 and we used about 3 (I was on the pill). We just find them a hassle to find and put on. I used to have a box in my car and use them for nos.

I remember a few years back using the featherlite ones and they always broke.

1. I don't know about DH, but they're not for me. Whether they're too tight and don't sit the way they should (as in, go all the way to the base) , I don't know. I was a bit worried about this to be honest, because I didn't want to take the pill ever again, and thought condoms might be the way we'd have to go post-pg. Turns out though that there's no need to worry

2. Nope.

3. Yes. The banana ones never get used

4. Nope. I wouldn't be able to stop laughing I don't think

5. No, but we have one that DH bought at the Erotica show - it's probably expired by now

6. We've pretty much mostly just used the flavoured ones when we've had them - although I think we tried featherlight once and they were ok. Ish.

7. I just don't like them, and I think for men there is a reduced sensation which is off-putting. If you're in a long term relationship, I suppose there is no real health-related reason not to, other than avoiding pg ... but when there are other options, that's not really an issue either.

Over and out for my 2 cents worth

Well I don't mind the prescription ones so long as it's not too often/much.... I don't think you'll ever find 'fantastic' condoms, so they do the job and that's about it.

Yes... Kiya's a condom baby (and yes, it was on correctly, and no, it didn't break) so I'm not too keen on them as the main form of contraception but they are good to save on mess.

Personally, I've never had much problem putting them on, as long as I have them the right way round to begin with.

Originally posted by BSDH BSDH wrote:

One or two... basically they taste like latex. A complimentary flavoured lube would probably help... actually, according to the 1st XV while I was in 7th form, tangerine tastes best!

Yes... they need to go right under a strong light source for ages to "charge"... and we didn't really see the point, you can't exactly see them glowing while in use!

No... sorry if TMI but I'm quite happy with my vibrators without worrying about anything like that.

Not sure, sorry... when we use them, we usually go for Durex

I dont have any major gripes bout them only they can be a bit of a mood killer. They are the only form of contraceptive that we use and no babies yet. As for the flavoured ones I think the strawberry tastes the best but still not great and still tastes like latex. The vibrating ones are a nice novalty
