got our letter today and they owe us sh*t loads  i can't believe it i thought it would be around $200 but no. can't really tell anyone as we have a few people close to us who will put there hands out and we really need this money with the baby etc i just need to tell someone thanks for listerning P.S. was just wondering if anyone knew how long it took to put money into our account after you have confirmed it by ringing the 0800 number??? -------------

I was totally blown away by our payment too! It's a great little surprise
I don't know about how long it takes to credit your account because they don't have my bank account details so we're getting a cheque (which takes 10 days so I'm guessing no longer than that?). |

I was still working full time for the period when the last tax return was for so I won't get any sort of payout until the next one

I got ours in the mail yesterday & had to ring my mum I was so excited, we are to get close to 5K once I sort out the bank details, will come in handy dh having hernia op on monday so is off for a few weeks

i get a return this year of over $4K and waiting for the cheque from accountant...bugger it didnt arrive today!!! thats our air fares paid for end of year now!!!

I got some back and wasn't expecting as worked up until Nov last year (and got a bonus from work so upped theincome) we have over estimated this year on income so hopefully we will get some back again.. only going on the visa so never mind. ------------- Ann

We are getting a generous amount this year aswell. I called the 0800 number last Friday to confirm everything, and the money went into our bank account Monday night available on Tuesday

I am still trying to get the form to claim back the money for daycare fees. I only found out last night that I can claim for the past 3 years of Andrew's daycare so I'll be getting a nice refund of just under $1000 from them if I can claim all 3 years. Family assistance is done automatically, the forms I have to fill in is because its not automatically done, as they don't know who pays for care. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

It's done automatically IF you're registered... SB since you are a new mum I'd give them a call - unless you got PTC or are currently receiving anything from them. ------------- |
