Driving back from DH soccer game i had to take this picture....
Mt Egmont/Taranaki Its such a beautiful mountain and something I love seeing every day. Although it is the reason why its so cold here   ------------- Ann

I agree that is the prettiest mountain, I stayed with some friends in Oakura many years ago when I was here backpacking and I took a picture at 7am and 5pm everyday I was there and everyone is different.

| Ann - I'd love to get back to Eltham. I lived there prior to moving up to Hamilton, working for the solicitor there. Loved the place, felt more like home to me than NP, where I was born and raised. Mum and Dad are in Inglewood though. |

| LOL I loved Eltham!! It's such a friendly down to earth town, everybody is so great, the ladies at the supermarket get to know you, and the library, and the post office (helped that the couple who owned the post shop were my neighbours but hey!). I lived there from October 04 to January 06 - worked for a guy called Grant Smith, and of course got to know a few more people through working there. I had lived there once before as well, and moved down to Hawera from there (worked in Hawera) but it just wasn't the same. |

Awwwwwww.. you are making me homeisck!! I really miss that beautiful view and mountain! I grew up and lived in the naki, Manaia on a dairy farm for 16 years, now living in Christchurch, it's not the same as waking up and looking out the paddock to such a magnificent picture!
