Honey Child are the original NZ distributor of Fuzzi Bunz Stay Dry Nappies. Charity Stuart, Managing Director of Honey Child has spent many months putting together ideas about what makes a cloth nappy great and has designed some of her own!

The key points with Honey Child nappies are:

  • Secondary waist snap (see picture below) means no "wing droop", a smoother snugger fit, and less "gaping", also great when double crossing waist domes.

  • Special wicking microfleece is woven and brushed to absorb faster than normal fleece, ensuring fast absorption/less leaks (particularly on boys)

  • Leg gussetts are very springy, yet very gentle.   They don't cut in like some styles.   The elastic is flat and encased so it can't twist.   You will be impressed with the quality of the sewing.

  • They come in 10 gorgeous new colours to brighten up your winter

  • Inserts - From September onwards Honey Child nappies will be sold with a new insert that absorbs 400mls!!!   That is over 25% more than a standard insert.   We have tested it and it can last 3.5 hours without a booster on a heavy wetter.   So this means you need less boosters. Until the September shipment arrives Honey Child is selling all their nappies with the well known and lovely Freeway Baby inserts that are also high absorption at 330mls, substantially more than any other current insert.

  • They're made in New Zealand!!! Honey Child nappies are made in Hastings by the old Hanes undies factory.   This means that we have had experts in bottom-ware working with us to create a superior product.

  • Buy Honey Child nappies risk free! We are offering a 30 day right of return on all quantities of Honey Child nappies (1-100+).   This is a limited 3 month offer so we can gauge customer satisfaction in our new product.

We would like to extend a special offer to all Oh Baby members!
The first 10 members to buy a pack of Honey Child nappies (6+) with inserts gets ONE FREE NAPPY WITH INSERT FREE!!!!

Honey Child nappies go on sale Monday 16th July.

Any questions at all please feel free to ask your friendly Honey Child Agents Toni (Two Blondinis) and Genevieve (Paws)

P.S
To clarify, "a package" is 6 nappies with inserts and don't forget that when you order your pack through myself or Gen (PAWS) you get a free nappy & insert.
So that's 7 nappies all for the price of 2 months worth of sposies

My husband objects to fuzzibuns as they contain teflon in their waterproof layer, do Honey child nappies?

I'm unsure the what the DWR (Durable Water Repellant ) would be made up of but I'm happy to find out for you. I know it is a hot topic.

Quote of interest though regarding "teflon" in nappies:

As well it is hard to know if the DWR used actually has Teflon the brand in it. The information I received was that some DWR's could have a small amount of teflon but it is made up of larger quantities of other repellancy. If you ask a company, do you use Teflon and they say no you have not actually received the answer you want because they do not have to use the brand Teflon. The chemical in question is not called Teflon. Teflon is a brand name like Nike. Not all running shoes are Nikes but running shoes are pretty darn similar.

Thanks, would be intrested to know if its not too much of a problem - good point about the "teflon". Not sure what the chemical is called.
