Anyone here had this before?

My midwife thinks i might have it. I got my bloods done today and she got them back and apparently the liver one wasnt normal.

So i now have to wait some more for an appt. at the hospital.

Fun.

Never heard of it before, do you know anything else and what it means?

ETA: ok have just researched it but I don't recommend doing that, ok? Here's some tips I found for you (you're probably doing them already though):
- Eat a Low-Fat Diet
- Drink Lots of Water
- Keep Temperature Low/Wear Cool Clothing

And re treatment: The goals of treating cholestasis of pregnancy are to relieve the itching and prevent complications. Itching may be treated with topical anti-itch medications or with corticosteroids. Medication is sometimes used to help decrease the concentration of bile acids. Vitamin K may also be used if blood clotting factors are abnormal....an early delivery may [also] be necessary.

Let us know how things go with the hospital

Good thing you got the itchiness checked out. Hopefully you can keep that little girl in you for a bit longer.

Depends on the hospital and how bad you are and how busy they are. You may end up going to an antenatal day unit assessment.

You'll have blood tests, and pee test, probably moniter the baby on the ctg and then see the OB and you may get a scan as well.
